PAW*19 - Stucco Trousers
PAW*19 - Stucco Trousers
A pair of salt and pepper boucle trousers. The primary inspiration for these trousers comes from stucco wall siding which is commonly found where I live, including the childhood home I grew up in. I have always been fascinated by the visual aesthetic and texture of stucco, so I have had the idea to make a pair of pants resembling it for years. After several trips to local fabric stores, I finally came across this fabric in a beautiful thick loop pull boucle and I knew it was the one. I think I am primarily drawn to both this fabric and stucco because it somehow feels patterned and deliberate but also very natural at the same time, kind of like moss you'd find in the woods.
