PAW*21 - Split Petal Long Shirt
PAW*21 - Split Petal Long Shirt
The Split-Petal Button-Down shirt. This is a piece I have wanted to make for some time now, but have been putting it off due to the technical demand of a formal shirt, which I have not attempted before. If you have followed me for some time, you will know how much I enjoy wearing long-line shirts. There is something about the silhouette that perfectly divides an outfit proportionally. I was surprised when I looked into this style of shirt, because very few brands I am aware of make something similar, besides Robert Geller and Craig Green. The primary design inspiration was to make a long-fitting shirt that split at the side to allow for pocket access, and accent motion when worn on the body. The main design detail of this shirt is the contrast hem, which references the same hem used in the original Fear of God x Pacsun collab, which is part of the reason I am into fashion today.
