PAW*29 - Triple Belted Shorts

A pair of triple-belted shorts. I initially pursued this triple belt design for week 9 with the triple-belted trousers, but I have wanted to use it in a pair of shorts since. My interest in trying this motif again comes from an attempt to balance a vertical emphasis with a horizontal one in such a compact space. The vertical line of the octa-pleating and extended bet loops run perpendicular to the triple belt system, which appears rather busy but also composed in a way. These shorts also feature dual hip pockets, rear welt pockets, and a triangular crotch. Finished in a cream bull denim these shorts are soft to the touch, but hold an air of rigidity.
