PAW*37 - 7/8th Shorts

The 7/8th shorts. These shorts complete the 7/8ths set I started in week 35. In a similar fashion to the sweater, these shorts are inspired by reinterpreting closures in garments. Traditionally you would have a half closure for sailor pants, or a full closure for tear-away pants. I found the idea of a 7/8th closure both aesthetically and creatively interesting. This feature allows for a level of modularity depending on how you intend to wear the shorts. This garment is finished with a hand-dyed thermal waffle material and contrasting ivory buttons.
