PAW*38 - Carrot Cropped Denim

The Carrot Cropped Denim. These pants fall into one of the central tenets of PAW*, which is reimagining some of my favorite garments in my style. If you have been following me for a while, you know how much I wear Needles BDU denim. The answer is too much. I wanted to make a similar pair with my flare. The result is the Carrot Cropped Denim. The name comes from the oversized silhouette, which tapers towards the hem. I also took some design inspiration from the simplicity of The baggy denim from MM6, in which the seams are barely visible. The primary design detail is my drawstring motif which accents the soft feel of the garment and allows for a level of adjustability at the waist. These pants are finished with heavyweight upholstery denim that was hand-dyed to allow for fading over time.
