PAW*39 - Rag Jacket

This jacket is 6 years in the making. The Rag Jacket completes a journey that started in 2018 With Sangiev. At this point I had been into fashion for only a few years and was still developing my personal style. There were many pieces I loved, but nothing truly captivated me until I saw A similar checked jacket on Sangiev's feed. I immediately DMed him to ask him where it was from, and regretfully he informed me that it was vintage. He did mention that the tag said “Earth Ragz” so I spent the rest of the day scouring the internet to no avail. It got to the point where I was bothering him every few months to purchase the jacket from him. Fast forward 6 years later and I stumble across a similar heavyweight blue and cream check materiel and I knew I had to recreate one of my first true grails. This shirt features an oversized front chest pocket, extended sleeve plackets, complimenting wood buttons, and a double-sided yoke. To top it all off, I ended up finding the original jacket in my size as well. Things have a way of working themselves out don't they.
