PAW*9 - Triple Belt Trousers
PAW*9 - Triple Belt Trousers
A pair of oversized trousers which summarize a part of what PAW stands for, an outlet to try new sewing techniques I am not familiar with and to make my version of pieces I am not able to get elsewhere. Firstly, The new techniques I used on this piece are the front and back pleats as well as a belted button fly closure. Secondly, I have been continually searching for a pair of staple solid gray slacks after I missed out on purchasing this pair of Martine rose pants a while back. Shoutout to Henry Bouff The result of this input is my take on a traditional pair of tailored slacks. Rather than a slim form-fitting style I exaggerated the pant leg to create a silhouette where it is difficult to discern what the cut of the pants is. This style creates definition only when moving, accented by the free-flowing, unrestricted construction and octa-pleating. The central detail of this piece is the triple belt loops and extended sash belt that can be worn in a variety of ways either practically or stylistically.
