PAW*27 - Sensu Bag

The Sensu bag. In the past, I have made a daily sling bag and a messenger bag, so this is my first attempt at a large-capacity travel bag. The design of this bag is primarily inspired by handheld folding fans, which utilize pleating functionally and aesthetically. This bag is finished with a drawstring cinch closure that compacts the pleats when closed to give it its uniform look and unique shape. I decided to use a sturdy but supple black bull denim for the outer and line it with a complimentary black Kona cotton. This piece holds roughly 25l of volume and can be adjusted for fit with the sliding buckle system.
